ブラチスラバのすぐ外にあるデヴィーン城（デヴィーンスキーフラッド）には、9世紀からのスロバキア最古のスラブ人居住地の痕跡があります。城は何度も手を変え、19世紀のナポレオン戦争中に爆破されるまで改装されました。
