The learning at this unique sensory museum is achieved only through touching, hearing, and smelling via the Tour in Darkness ticket. Armed with a white cane, you'll experience some of the daily norms and struggles of people who don't have the benefit of fully functioning sight. Get a small taste of what it's like to potter around the kitchen, browse in a supermarket, and cross the street. Your guide will lead you through the darkness – they're pretty adept, as you can imagine. The exhibitions are true to real life, but you can also opt to take the experience out into the real world. Choose the _Ribbelroute_ and you'll explore the streets of Nijmegen with a pair of virtual reality glasses that replicate visual impairments. You operate the app's menu with only your eyes!
